01 / PROFILE

Look beyond
the surface.

Linux System Engineer with experience operating enterprise infrastructure and leading an IT team.

My focus is Linux, automation with Ansible, Bash and Python, and troubleshooting complex systems. In personal projects, I develop applications and integrate locally hosted AI models. I want to build on my Linux and automation experience by moving further into operating AI applications.

04 / PERSONAL PROJECTS

Curiosity continues
after work.

01 / LOCAL AI APPLICATION

Text becomes speech.
On my own GPU.

AI Reader reads Markdown files aloud, one sentence at a time. I built the application with a React interface, Node/Express and a Python worker. Qwen3-TTS (12 Hz, 1.7B, Base) runs locally on my RTX 3090 using PyTorch and CUDA.

The model stays in memory. Upcoming sentences are generated in advance, and a WAV cache avoids repeating synthesis. Controls cover navigation, speed, section pauses and live audio adjustments. An online voice provides a fallback while the GPU is unavailable.

Language model training

A personal learning project using freely available training data to explore the training process through to initial text generation.

  • React / TypeScript
  • Node / Express
  • Python
  • PyTorch / CUDA
  • Qwen3-TTS
02 / GAME DEVELOPMENT

A garden of my own.
Built from code and ideas.

Mahjong Garten is an offline-capable Mahjong Solitaire game for web and mobile platforms. It includes game logic, solvable layouts, progression, a customisable garden and local saves.

I develop the game with TypeScript, Vite and Capacitor.

  • Offline / local data
03 / DESKTOP APPLICATION

From a Bluetooth signal
to training results.

A local Windows application for DISAG RedDot, capturing, processing and scoring shooting-sport data over Bluetooth.

Training and competition management, statistical analysis, and printing results and certificates. Data stays in a local SQLite database, with backup and restore.

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Tauri
  • Rust
  • SQLite
  • Vite

04 / PERSONAL KUBERNETES LAB

My own small universe.
Room to experiment.

Run a personal k3s environment with game servers and Nextcloud, and occasional hosting of my own website.

A place to operate technologies myself and explore how they work together.

  • Kubernetes
  • k3s
  • Self-Hosting
  • Nextcloud
IN PRACTICE / AI AS A TOOL

Experiment.
Build understanding.

Local model integration and AI-assisted development in personal projects.

I use Codex, Cursor, Claude, OpenClaw and Hermes for research, ideation, refinement and implementation in my personal projects. AI Reader combines this development practice with running a speech synthesis model locally.

05 / FOUNDATIONS & LEARNING

Precision meets
curiosity.

My path began in machining. Today, I work with systems.
